Ron and Jennifer Eivaz are celebrating 25 years as pastors of Harvest Church in Turlock, CA. One of the first times I was ministering in California my intercessors (who travel with me) attended Jennifer’s “Seers’ Institute.” It sounded weird to me, although I never criticized it. Seers? Soon my eyes were opened when I saw the results through my intercessors.
COMMUNITY CHURCH MIRACLE
I was invited to speak at an old community church near Detroit. My intercessors were all there engaging the prophetic realm on my behalf. When I gave the invitation for people to come to Jesus, nearly the whole church came forward. I thought I hadn’t made myself clear, so again I told the congregation that this was a salvation altar call. Nobody moved away. They all wanted to invite Christ into their lives. That was the beginning of a prophetic revival in that church.
My intercessors gave me special “words” before every service no matter where I was ministering, and invariably things happened exactly as they prophesied.
LOS ANGELES MIRACLE
I was speaking at the famous Angelus Temple in Los Angeles and was particularly nervous. My prophetic intercessors were there praying at the church, but I was in my downtown hotel room suffering from a scared feeling for that I couldn’t understand.
I prayed and thought the Lord spoke to me and said, “Call Jack Van Impe and he’ll pray for you.” I thought, “No, I never want to be a bother or abuse the privilege of having his private number.” But the thought would not leave me. Finally, I called Jack and Rexella’s home. Dr. Jack was extremely gracious. He told me that he too would get scared sometimes. Rexella hopped on the phone and they both prayed for me. Then Rexella began to prophesy to me. “Dave, the Lord is with you, and tonight will be one of the greatest victories that church has ever known. You will do fine and Jesus will get the glory.”
COURAGE BEGAN POURING IN FROM HEAVEN
It was like courage began pouring in from heaven. Those words really were prophetic and comforting. My driver arrived to take me to Angelus Temple. He led me through the private entrance and hallway to the green room where I met with Pastors Tommy and Matthew Barnett. We marched out into the massive auditorium. The place was packed. I preached, remembering Rexella’s prophetic words and Jack’s gracious prayer.
Then I “threw out the net” inviting souls to come to Jesus Christ. A hundred people walked forward, then another hundred. I then announced, “This is my last call.” Suddenly, another hundred got out of their seats and pushed toward the front. (The church workers always counted the number of salvations).
OVER 300 SOULS PUSH FORWARD TO MEET JESUS
We prayed the prayer of salvation and scores of souls were crying and smiling at the same time. The relief of sin and shame being gone was evident on hundreds of faces that night. One of the leaders grabbed me afterward, put his arm around me, and whispered, “I believe that’s the biggest altar call we’ve ever seen here.”
BE A VOICE FOR GOD
It was a prophetic team working together to be a voice for God in a hurting world. Jack prayed, Rexella prophesied, My prophetic intercessors engaged the realms of heaven on behalf of the lost, and…All I did was preach the Gospel… and God gave the miracle results.
