Sow lots of seeds now into God’s work, and expect a huge harvest back to you. Look for opportunities to invest.
II Corinthians 9:6-8 NLT
Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.
You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully.
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
Many people plant seeds and then because of foolishness miss their harvest. Plant seeds and then pray, “God, show me where my harvest is.”
I know a little widow lady who is an evangelist. She travels from church to church, living on the love offerings. She gives much to God’s work, planting seeds of finance and faith. God began to show her, by revelation, the harvest for the years of her seed planting. Do you know what she’s done? She gathered a little money, saw a particular opportunity, invested in it, and in two months turned over $15,000. Then she invested in a couple of other opportunities and turned over $30,000. She isn’t going to have to worry about retirement. She’s not going to have to depend on social security or charity because God showed her the harvest.
Plant big financial seeds and expect big financial harvests
Believe God for it. Go get your harvest. The Scriptures say the godly man gives generously and his good deeds will be an honor to him forever. (Psalm 112:9)
Even if you are saying, “I don’t have anything to give,” you do because God gives seed to a person who will sow it (2 Corinthians 9:9-11).
Some people say, “You know; I can’t afford a book like Radical Riches, or Coming into the Wealthy Place, or Genuine Prosperity.” You can go on Amazon and get used copies of my books and other ministers’ books that will help you see your harvest. For only $2.98 you can get one with a ripped cover or a coffee stain. Personally, I would skip a lunch to get one.
People say they can’t afford to buy a book about finances, yet you’ll see them out at the fast food restaurant getting a double hamburger with triple cheese and bacon, french fries, milkshakes, and then super sizing them all. It may cost them $13.00, but they say they can’t afford to buy a book because it’s too expensive. And so they stay in the downward spiral gripped by the spirit of poverty.
Seed for the farmer
The Bible says God gives seed to the farmer who will plant it, not the farmer who will eat it all. In other words, if someone has it in his or her heart to get their lives on God’s economic system, God will give them the seed to plant. Nobody can ever say I don’t have anything to give. God will give you seed. And later on, He’ll give you good crops to harvest and enjoy.
If a farmer wants his crops to fail, all he has to do is not plant anything. If people want to be a failure financially, all they have to do is not plant any financial seeds into God’s work. Failure will be guaranteed. It may not be day one or year one, but failure is guaranteed.
I received a letter from a person living in Omaha, Nebraska who read my book, Radical Riches. The principles in my book have revolutionized this person’s life. They told how they went from debt to prosperity by applying God’s financial principles of planting and reaping. You should get that book and read it.
Make this a breakthrough day by beginning to plant financial seeds into God’s work.

I do understand how many say they can’t afford things…many of us cannot and that is the truth. However I do also know we take what we do have and sometimes put it where we can cut out to do other things sometimes! God will take good care of us if we step out in faith. Today I see all sorts shopping at Goodwill instead of other stores because our society is slipping down and things are too expensive. How many stores and businesses will make it with such high p[rices is a question but on the flip of that I see Goodwill and other thrift stores putting up their prices as if they were first run stores when all of their goods are DONATED….makes me ill! Somewhere there has to be a balance and better thinking all the way around; we who believe must share kindly to show others who the Lord is and those who are just out for the dollar must learn, that there is more to life than money, for we are going to be challenged as never before one day! All of that can if we let it remake us into better people who will have the strength to stand and fight the evil that is befalling our nation and the attack against faith!! If we share information that can help us as a family group of faith based people just think what we can accomplish for the Lord and God!
PS: Many of us do not know who to trust to invest or if we need someone else and can do it ourselves…..anyone have any thoughts on this too?
That is wonderful message. May our good God continue to use DWM to equip church and ministry workers and leaders.
